Important Points to Note
- Ceiling on Number of Candidates: There is a ceiling on the number of candidates allotted to each of the centres, except for Chennai, Dispur, Kolkata, and Nagpur. Once the capacity of a particular centre is reached, it will be frozen, and candidates who cannot be allotted their preferred centre will need to choose an alternative from the remaining available centres.
- First-Apply-First-Allot Basis: The allotment of centres will be done on a “first-apply-first allot” basis. To increase the chances of getting the centre of your choice, it is advisable to apply early.
- Flexibility in Centre Change: While applicants can choose their preferred centre, the Commission reserves the right to change the centres at its discretion if needed. Candidates should remain flexible in case of any last-minute changes.
- Persons with Benchmark Disability: All the examination centres listed will also cater to persons with benchmark disability (PwBD) candidates in their respective centres. Information regarding the timetable and place of examination will be provided to such candidates accordingly.
- No Request for Centre Change: Once the examination centre has been allotted, no requests for a change of centre will be entertained. Therefore, it’s essential to be sure about your preferred centre when applying.
